More about the movie “War Dance” and Resolve Uganda
The war in northern Uganda has displaced millions of people and left countless children vulnerable to abduction, abuse, and forced child soldiering. Resolve Uganda is a network of individuals and organizations working together to bring an end to the crisis. By acting together, we can make sure our concerns are heard in Washington DC and that our leaders are doing all they can to end the war.

Every month, the Q Cafe donates 10% of its sales to a local organization working on local or global causes.
This month we are donating to Community Alliance for Global Justice.
“Community Alliance for Global Justice is an organization of volunteers who contribute their skills, time and money to work for a just local and global economy and who believe that the global economy should embody the core values of social justice, environmental sustainability, democracy and self-determination.”

“Husbands, Love Your Wives are another local project that has mastered the balance of delicate and dynamic. At the heart of Husbands is Jamie Spiess and her acoustic guitar (she’s occasionally joined by friends). Her songs are quaint and quiet, but they’re still powerful enough to give you chills.”
