Join Nick Drummond and Tyler Carson at the Q Cafe Saturday night, April 28, for the imminent release of their new self-titled CD, Impossible Bird!

Frontman Nick Drummond (formerly of the hit Seattle band The Senate), and international fiddle/violin extraordinaire Tyler Carson have teamed up to showcase their talents together... their self-titled release will go on sale Saturday, while they jam away in the intimate confines of Q Cafe!

Doors open at 8:30, show begins at 9pm.

Join us at the Q Cafe Friday evening, May 11, to be graced by the musical talents of JJ Heller, accompanied by local Seattle artist Kate Lynne Logan.

JJ’s recent rising stardom has been fueled by strong critic reviews of her honest vocals, giving increased power and life to her poignant lyrical content.  Her most recent album, “Deeper,” has been marked as “flawless” and one of the “most authentic album[s] of the year.”  Receiving increased attention throughout the nation, her music as been linked to having similarities with such artists as Damien Rice and Over the Rhine, and with lyrical intricacies akin to Patty Griffin.  The Q Cafe is proud to host JJ Heller, and provide an intimate atmosphere by which her Seattle-based fans can experience her talents!

Joining JJ will be Seattle-based singer/songwriter Kate Lynne Logan.  Kate Lynne has been praised for intimate, honest songs and her ethereal vocals. Her delicate voice and tasteful, percussive guitar-playing further blur the lines between contemporary-folk, pop and alt-country.

Doors open at 7:30, show begins at 8pm. $15 advance, $18 at the door. Q Cafe is an All Ages venue.

Hey folks... sorry to say that we're going to keep the Q closed today, as the roads are simply too dangerous to travel on.  We'll look towards opening again tomorrow, weathe and roads permitting!

Well, Snowpocalypse 2012 has been a little underwhelming... but the roads are still a mess.  Due to this, the Q Café will be delaying our Thursday opening until at least 10am.  Stay tuned here, or on our Facebook page, for more information about our schedule -- and stay safe out there!

Due to the snowy start this morning, the Q Café will be delaying our 8am opening until at least 10am.  We'll make adjustments to our schedule as dictated by the weather today, so please check with us here prior to stopping into the Q!

Due to the risk of inclement weather in the greater Seattle area today, the Q Cafe will be closing early at 5pm.  Our Tuesday Open Mic night, hosted by Victory Music, has also been cancelled for this evening.  Our recommendation: stay home, stay safe and warm!

We'll make a determination this evening in regards to any potential changes in our schedule for tomorrow (Wednesday) as the weather system approaching makes its intentions known to us!
