Rental Space
Whether you’re in need of a small conference room [up to 20 people], an informal meeting corner in the cafe [20+], or the usage of the entire cafe space [238 standing, 100 seated] for weddings, parties, conferences, meetings, fundraisers, cd release parties, or other events, Q Cafe is proud to be a great rental option for Seattle.
Renting the Q Cafe not only offers a great space for your event, but it also helps the Cafe continue to be a community presence. Along with supporting the local music and art scene, the Q Cafe facilitates community events and donates 10% of its sales to local non-profits working on local and global causes.
Rates are listed below. We will do our best to work with you to make your rental - however small or large - a great event. Fill in the rental request form below for estimates, availability, scheduling walk-through tours with our rental coordinator, and other questions.
Café Space: (3 hour minimum) Holds up to 238 people
$75-$100 per hour (depending on size), plus required staffing personnel for private rentals and non-profit groups, (must have proof of 501c3 status)
$100 per hour, plus required staffing personnel for wedding receptions
$125 per hour, plus required staffing personnel for business groups
*Set-up/Clean-up fee will be charged depending on extent of rental
Included Accommodations: Cafe bar (sink, refrigerator, microwave, counter space), stage area, kids room, private room, microphones, stereo, audio/visual projector, 2 computers, wireless internet, cafe furniture + folding chairs and tables, plenty of parking
Large Group Meeting Room: (one hour minimum) Holds up to 20 people
$20 per hour for private rentals and non-profit groups (must have proof of 501c3 status)
$30 per hour for business groups
Conference Corner:
(during café business hours):
Holds up to 20 people (can be expanded)
$10 per hour, minimum of $20 per rental
Benefit shows/Fundraisers: (flat fee: maximum 3-4 hours)
$150 + staffing (at the discretion of rental cooridinator)
*The cafe can only accommodate a limited number of Benefit Shows/Fundraisers for the above rate. If this rate is not available, private/non-profit rental rates will apply. Please fill out the rental request form below to find out availability.
Staffing Personnel:
Barista (optional) - $10/hr
Event Host (required) - $15/hr
Audio|Visual Technician - $15/hr (optional, but required for rentals that need to use the sound system)

Kids Room also available free of charge (no staffing is available for kids room)
Refundable Security Deposit:
$50- large room
$250- café space
