Q Cafe Kids Art Day!

Q is hosting a Kids Art Day on November 13th.  Kids will have the opportunity to create masterpieces with artist Kelly Schnell while parents relax and drink coffee and tea.  Art creating will occur from 10 am-11:30 am with kids able to present their work to their parents afterwards!

10% of July Sales go to Eastside Domestic Violence Program

10% of Q's July sales will be donated to the Eastside Domestic Violence Program.  

"Eastside Domestic Violence Program (EDVP) has been providing domestic violence services and programs to the community since 1982...[they] work closely with local and regional human service agencies to provide life-saving and life-changing programs and services to help victims and their children separate safely from an abuser, restore trust, develop self-sufficiency and build peaceful families."

10% of May Sales going to Jubiliee Women's Center!

We are excited to announce that the Q Cafe will be giving 10% of its May cafe sales to Jubilee Women's Center.  

Jubilee Women's Center's mission is "to provide women a safe and supportive place to live and an opportunity to learn while becoming self-reliant in housing and employment."  They are located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle.

Come on in to the cafe this month and support Jubilee Women's Center!

The Q Cafe is donating 10% of its July and August sales to Nickelsville Seattle via one4one

one4one seeks "to live life alongside one another, both housed and non-housed, expressing unconditional love one to another, while helping others go and do likewise, through relational networking, companionship mentoring, and educational opportunities."

june 10% goes to world concern!

World Concern is a Seattle based non-profit organization that provides opportunities to the poor that focus on basic needs, sustainable livelihoods and family stability. It serves through a worldwide staff of professionals who are committed to forging partnerships with people and communities, as well as local governments, churches, like-minded agencies and donors.

World Concern provides support in 24 countries. Their work varies by country, depending on need. They work in the Americas, SE Asia and Africa. Some countries where they provide significant services include Bangladesh, Myanmar, Kenya and Haiti.

For the month of June, Q Cafe will donate 10% of its sales to World Concern's Global Gift campaign, which provides basic necessities to poorer countries such as school supplies, water wells, and animals.

So come in and grab an iced coffee while supporting World Concern!

 

10% of May sales go to REACH!

Ten percent of the Q Cafe's sales in the month of May will go to REACH Ministries.  REACH runs several different programs all designed to serve and support children who are affected by HIV/AIDS as well as other life threatening illnesses. 

REACH runs a summer camp which provides a safe haven for families, free from financial obligation and social threats.  It's a great time of fun and celebration for all who are involved.

Other REACH programs include mentoring program for children affected by HIV/AIDS and a service and leadership program which enables high school students to work closely and care for those affected by life threatening situations and illnesses.

REACH is also active around the world supporting HIV/AIDS education abroad, particularly in India.

Each month, Q Cafe donates 10% of our sales to another larger Seattle based non-profit organization that is doing work to 'Do Good' both locally and/or globally.

Fridays we're open from 8am-5pm... open again at 7:30pm for our weekly Live Music Show.

Saturday we're open from 8am-1pm.
